Date night is looking really good.
Isn’t it great when this season’s perfect date night piece is hiding in your closet? We’re talking about that stack of scarves you might have stashed away. Too many? We just love the refashioning ideas from Trash To Couture using traditional tartan scarves. They are really good looking, and they come together quite quickly with a few basic Dritz® supplies and easy techniques.
|So, you need that scarf. Next, you’ll use Dritz® sew-on snaps on the inside of your kilt skirt.
Sew-on snaps are easy to apply. Check out our illustrated tutorial for application tips and techniques.
|Laura at Trash To Couture also used two of our Dritz® tab closures for the front of the skirt.
Jump on over to her blog to see the full instructions and patterns for this skirt.
|You’ll notice that in addition to the scarf-to-skirt refashion, she also made a dynamite scarf-to-poncho refashion.|
|Some really great looks for fall, that are easy to DIY with a few basic supplies and scarves you likely have on hand.|
