Another stunner featuring Sharon’s new collection for Art Gallery Fabrics.
Sharon Holland is at it again, and we just can’t get enough of her pretty things. Her new Signature fabric collection has her in sewing mode, and we’re excited to share a couple of her latest makes here. Check them out and get inspired to sew with this lovely fabric.
We spotted these projects in Sharon’s blog post Behind the Signature Lookbook Projects – Part 1, which features a baby room full of precious ideas.
To make the tote bag, Sharon followed our beginner sewing tutorial, but she made a few amendments to accommodate for the use of her Signature fabric. (Our tutorial calls for cotton canvas, and the Small World Sprightly print she used is quilt weight cotton. Read through her post to get all of the details.)
Sharon’s pencil pouch is awfully cute, too. You can find its sewing pattern on Sharon’s Free Patterns page. Her clever use of our Dritz extra large eyelets allows the pouch to be attached inside of a 3-ring binder. Don’t forget the special touches – make a coordinating DIY tassel to finish off the pouch.
So, to begin your planning, take a closer look at Sharon’s Signature fabric collection for Art Gallery Fabrics. (Truly swoon worthy!)
