Make a pattern for the toe and heel fringe. Print out a set of espadrille patterns. For the heel fringe, draw a line 2” down from pattern size at top edge of the heel and 1” in on each side. For the toe fringe, draw a line 2 ½” from pattern size at toe edge. Along drawn line on toe, measure in 1 1/4” from each side of toe and draw a line parallel to the grainline from drawn line to toe pattern edge. Cut patterns out.
