Frankenstein Costume

Easy, peasy.

A super simple costume with just 3 ingredients – safety pins + a T-shirt + sweat pants. (Oh, and a cute little Frankenstein to wear it, of course!)

Frankenstein Costume Project Tutorial

Supplies needed:

  • Dritz® size 2 safety pins
  • Long-sleeved T-shirt
  • Sweat pants
  • Scissors

Cut the legs on the sweatpants, and then reattach them with safety pins.  Finish the hems on the pants with zig-zag cuts.  Treat the T-shirt in the same manner, cutting apart and re-attaching sections with safety pins as shown.  Finish the T-shirt bottom and sleeve hems with a zig-zag cut.

Idea: don’t forget the make-up! Round out your Frankenstein look with some face paint – black zig-zag stitches across the forehead are what we’re talkin’ about!

Finish the look with this matching Frankenstein treat bag.
