A clever – and friendly – way to tell friends when not to knock.
These personalized banners are genius – what an easy way to declare it study time or nap time! Use basic craft materials and easy cutting techniques to make the banners. Personalize them with the message of your choice using Dritz® iron-on lettering – easy, peasy! A super subtle way to say no knocking, without actually saying no knocking.
- Fashion grommets, white (2 pc)
- Soft flock iron-on lettering in the font and color of your choice
- Fray Check® liquid seam sealant
- Pressing cloth
- 5” x 11” piece of duck canvas in the color of your choice
- Iron and pressing surface
- 5” x 11” piece of lightweight fusible interfacing
- 18” piece of ribbon to match
|1) Fuse the interfacing to the back of canvas piece.|
|2) Print our our template, and then use it to cut a flag shape out of your canvas.|
|3) Apply Dritz® fashion grommets to the top of sign 1” from each side. See how to apply by watching our YouTube video or reading these illustrated instructions.|
|4) Peel the Dritz® soft flock iron-on lettering off of its backing paper and position it as desired before securing, making sure your saying will fit on the sign.|
|5) Fuse lettering, one word at a time, using a pressing cloth on top of the letters. Make sure your letters are even and straight. (Check out our website item page for more application specifics.)|
|6) Apply Fray Check® to the edges.
7) Tie a ribbon through the grommets and it’s ready to hang.
