Celebrate Dad with a custom tray he’ll use every single day.
This handsome gentleman’s tray makes a special gift for Dad. A place to keep his wallet, watch, phone or keys, it keeps him organized and can be customized with your choice of fabric. Adding a new Dritz® leather label lets Dad know he’s one-of-a-kind. Choose fabric that’s just his style, and finish the tray with Dritz® rivets hardware for a polished look. He’s going to love it!

1) Apply medium weight interfacing to the WS of canvas. Apply light weight interfacing to the WS of lining.

3) Clip corners and turn right side out. Gently poke out corners with point turner and press fabric.
Make sure you line up the edges of the gap evenly. Use a dab of glue stick to hold the gap closed then press again.
4) Edgestitch around the entire square, backstitching at the beginning and end.
|5) Lightly press each side up 3” using an Ezy-Hem® gauge. Bring the sides up at each corner to meet each other. Hold in place with a Getta Grip® sewing clip.
Repeat for each corner.
6) One corner at a time, remove the clip and use the awl to make a hole through both sides of the fabric ½” down from the top.
7) Insert the rivet post in the holes and snap on the cap. Repeat for remaining corners.
8) Center the leather label on one side of the tray. Use the awl to poke holes through the fabric and insert rivets through holes to hold label in place.
9) Use the rivet tools and a rubber mallet to secure all rivets.
