Oh no you can’t.
Going out to celebrate on St. Patty’s Day? If you want to draw attention instead of pinches, this T-shirt will do the trick. It’s super easy to make. If you want the saying only, all you need is a green T-shirt plus Dritz iron-on lettering. If you’re ready to do a little sewing, add the optional fabric shamrock using the simple pattern included. Sham rockin’ indeed!
You’ll need these basic crafting and sewing supplies:
- Green T-shirt
- 6″ x 6″ fabric square (we used Dream Basic, Grass from Timeless Treasures)
- Dritz® Liquid Stitch™ Original Fabric Glue
- Dritz® Iron-On Letters (we used Monogram, white and Block, white)

Print and cut out the shamrock pattern. Pin it to your fabric and trace around it with a fabric marker. Cut it out. |

Add detail to the shamrock by topstitching its edges, or use the decorative stitch of your choice. |

Insert the wax paper or cardboard into your T-shirt, to prevent the glue from penetrating the back side of shirt. Press your fabric and apply a line of Liquid Stitch to the back of the stitch line. Place on your shirt and let dry. |

Following the instructions on the package of lettering, apply your letters. TIP: to make an apostrophe, just clip the corner off of a spare letter! |
